The Gecko ship is sailing once again at Lauro Golf

The Málaga course, Lauro Golf, hosts the seventh tournament of the sixth season of the Gecko Tour. The best winter tour in Europe is back this week after an obligatory break due to floods that forced two scheduled tournaments to be canceled at Alcaidesa Golf.

The tournament will start this Monday and Tuesday and will be played, as usual this time around, in 36 holes. More than fifty golfers are registered at Lauro, among which are three winners from this season: Andreas Andersson, Sam Conner and José Luis Gross. The three golfers have been presented with a great challenge. Nobody has been able to repeat the victory up to now. All three will be in the race to be the first to do so, no doubt. Once again, it’s important to point out the international flavor of the Gecko. None other than eighteen nationalities will be represented at Lauro. A notable demonstration of how extensive the Gecko truly is (there are golfers from Canada and the US, for example) and that the Costa del Sol is a privileged place to compete, despite the fact that the rain has attempted to prove otherwise this past week.

The tournament will begin at nine in the morning and the last game will start at half past ten. Among the most appealing games are those with Andersson, Nygard and Fitzpatrick and Connor, Rob and Burnier. Check here live results.
