The Madrid golfer has delivered the best scorecard of the day and is in third place individually, just one stroke behind the leading pair formed by Korean Soomin Oh and Japanese Aira Nagasawa (-7).
The tremendous momentum generated by Paula, combined with the solid performances of Andrea Revuelta (71 strokes today) and Carolina López Chacarra (-2, also with 71 strokes) has allowed Spain to gain a position in the team standings and move into second place, tied with the United States and two strokes behind South Korea. The giants of the world amateur golf demonstrating from the first minute why they are the big favourites for victory.
There is a very important detail regarding the Spanish team. It is the only one in which all three golfers have played under par for both days. In this sense, if instead of counting the two best results each day, all three were counted, Spain would be the clear leader. Very high level.
