The fact is that Mory has taken a big step in search of his second victory of the season (and third of his career in this circuit), a result that would already secure his presence in the DP World Tour for 2026. This goal, in fact, was well on track having arrived in Swedish lands in twelfth place in the Road to Mallorca, but he could really seal it here.

Rocco Repetto (-7), for example, has dropped fourteen places after delivering a card of 70 strokes, one under for the day. The young Andalusian started on the 10th hole with a bogey, then recovered to sign a three-under-par for his first nine holes, and finally was held back by the second half of his round with a two-over-par in this section. Nevertheless, he maintains the consistency that has characterized him all season (he has just surpassed his tenth consecutive cut, all except the first in the eleven tournaments he has played, including this Dormy Open). And he has more than enough margin to, for example, achieve his third top ten of the season this week and consolidate himself among the top twenty in the ranking.
– Excellent was the comeback of Javier Calles (-6), with a round of 65 strokes and a five-under-par for the second half of the course. Adri Arnaus (-6, round of 67), Lucas Vacarisas (-5, round of 68), and Javier Sainz (-5, round of 70) will also be there for the weekend. Javier Barcos (-4), Víctor Pastor (-4), Sebas García (-3), David Borda (-2), Borja Virto (-1), Joseba Torres (+1), José Antonio Sintes (+3), Víctor García Broto (+3), and Álvaro Quirós (PAR), who withdrew with wrist discomfort after playing the first four holes of this second round, have been left out.
