The HotelPlanner Tour has released its schedule for the 2026 season this Thursday, a new edition of the Road to Mallorca which will visit 19 countries across three continents, featuring 28 tournaments and distributing a total prize fund of 9 million euros for the second consecutive year. The campaign will also mark the second year of the multi-year agreement with the technology company HotelPlanner as Title Partner.

Among the main novelties of the schedule is the debut of Estonia as a host country and the return of the tour to England for the first time since 2023. The Infortar Estonian Challenge will take place in July at the Estonian Golf & Country Club, on the outskirts of Tallinn, making the Baltic country the 52nd nation to host a tour tournament since its inception in 1989 and the first new addition to the schedule since 2020.

The return to English soil will occur in two events: the England Golf Challenge supported by HotelPlanner, which will be held in June at The Vale Golf Club, and the English Challenge, which will take place in September at The Caversham.

The season will kick off for the sixth consecutive year in South Africa with the SDC Open at Zebula Golf Estate & Spa, the first of four co-sanctioned tournaments with the Sunshine Tour. In April, the tour will return to the United Arab Emirates with the Abu Dhabi Challenge and the RAKBANK UAE Challenge, as part of the long-term alliance of the European Tour group with the Emirates Golf Federation.

Europe will come into play in May with the Italian Challenge Open, starting an intense streak of 19 tournaments in 20 weeks across 16 countries on the continent. This stretch features established events such as the Blot Open de Bretagne, which will be held for the 19th time at Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André, and the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge, celebrating its tenth edition.

The schedule also includes new venues. The Challenge de España will be played for the first time at Isla Canela Links, while Fontanals Golf Club will host the Challenge de Catalunya. Additionally, PGA Aroeira 1, in Lisbon, will debut as the venue for the Open de Portugal.

The final stretch of the season will take the HotelPlanner Tour back to China in October with two consecutive tournaments, the Hainan Open and the Hangzhou Open, which will serve as the last opportunity to secure qualification for the grand final.

The Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A will be held for the sixth time at the Club de Golf Alcanada, in Mallorca, from October 29 to November 1. There, the top-ranked players will compete for one of the 15 cards for the DP World Tour, a decisive step in their professional careers.

The 15 graduates will also gain access to the Earnings Assurance Programme of the DP World Tour, which guarantees a minimum income of 150,000 dollars in the 2027 season if they play at least 15 tournaments. The top five will also benefit from the John Jacobs Bursary, aimed at providing stability and support in their first full year at the elite level.

The director of the HotelPlanner Tour, Jamie Hodges, highly valued the new schedule: “It is a proud moment to present the Road to Mallorca 2026 schedule. It allows us to continue building on the great momentum achieved in 2025 and offer the next generation of talent the best possible platform”.

Hodges also highlighted the impact of the tour as a pathway to the elite: “Our graduates are not only prepared to compete on the DP World Tour, but to win”. Last season, four former tour players —John Parry, Kristoffer Reitan, Martin Couvra and Nicolai von Dellingshausen— achieved victories in the Race to Dubai 2025, with ten players finishing the year among the top 50 in the rankings.

Finally, the executive thanked the support of sponsors, federations, venues, and especially HotelPlanner: “Their investment has been key to giving our players the best chance of success, and we look forward to continuing to grow together in the new season”.
