– Next Thursday, 30th October, the DP World Tour Qualifying School semi-finals will commence at four different venues, all in Spanish territory. A total of 299 players appear on the entry list released today by the European circuit, of which around 90/95 players will advance to the Final Stage of the Qualifying School, approximately 23 or 24 players at each venue.
– We have fifteen Spanish players distributed across the venues as follows:
– At Desert Springs Resort, Almería, Joel Moscatel, Joseba Torres, Alejandro Cañizares, Javier Barcos, Álvaro Hernández Cabezuela, and Alfredo García Heredia will play, provided the Asturian does not secure a direct pass to the Final this week in Korea by improving his position in the Race to Dubai, or even secure direct ‘permanence’ in the first division with an outstanding performance.
– At Isla Canela Links, Huelva, Javier Calles, Borja Martín, and David Borda will be present.
– At Golf Las Pinaillas, Albacete, Albert Boneta and Pablo Ereño will play.
– And at Fontanals Golf Club, Girona, Borja Virto, Santi Tarrio, Luis Masaveu, and Scott Fernández will seek their pass to the Final.
– It should be noted once again that the most numerous nationality in these semi-finals of the European circuit’s Qualifying School is United States, with a total of 49 players distributed across the four venues. England has 42 players, and France is the third country with 24 players.
