Welcome to the live coverage of the final round of the BMW PGA Championship, the most important tournament of the year on the DP World Tour played on the West de Wentworth course in London, the same place that houses the headquarters of the European circuit. Today we will find out the champion.
There are many contenders, including two Spaniards: Manuel Elvira, who will tee off in the featured pairing alongside Filippo Celli and is tied with the Italian for the lead at -13. And Alejandro del Rey, who will go out from third place with a total of -12, just one shot off the lead. Two excellent chances to win a tournament that has not travelled to Spain since 2008 with Miguel Ángel Jiménez.
Among the contenders we also have a sensational crop of players led by Rory McIlroy, followed by JJ Spaun, Aaron Rai, Ryan Fox, Joaco Niemann, Adam Scott, Robert MacIntyre and Ludvig Aberg, among others. We’ll bring you all the details on Ten Golf.
