Nexo, a company dedicated to the management of digital asset wealth, and the DP World Tour have expanded their partnership with the launch of the Course Record presented by Nexo, a new cash bonus for players on the tour. The initiative will kick off with the Nexo Championship, which will be held from this Thursday at the Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, Scotland.
It starts with an amount of 10,000 dollars, which will be awarded to the first player to set a course record at the Nexo Championship. If no record is broken that week, the prize rolls over to the next event and another 10,000 dollars are added to the pot. After a valid record, the prize returns to the initial amount.
To celebrate this new initiative, Nexo will add NEXO tokens valued at 50,000 dollars for anyone who sets a course record this week, highlighting the growing significance of digital assets (cryptocurrency) in elite sports.
With ten course records in 2024 and seven more so far in 2025, the Race to Dubai schedule promises an exciting competition.

The prize will remain until the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, before restarting in 2026. Only tournaments played on a single course will be eligible; if there are weather interruptions, at least 36 holes must have been completed, and any round where preferred lies are in effect will be excluded.
