The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first of the two playoffs concluding the season on the DP World Tour, will be held from 6th to 9th September at the spectacular Yas Links course, and has just confirmed the presence of three stars from the European tour. Three winners of Rolex Series tournaments and members of the Old Continent team who will compete next week in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
They are Matt Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton, and Robert MacIntyre. All of them are signing up for the penultimate event of the 2025 tour season, before the grand finale, which will be held as usual at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. The three join the current Masters Tournament champion and Grand Slam winner, Rory McIlroy, in a world-class field for the inaugural event of these final circuit playoffs.
The Open de France this week will be the prelude to the Ryder. And after the classic clash between United States and Europe, where Luke Donald‘s team will try to defend the title, four tournaments will remain before the playoffs: the Alfred Dunhill Links at St Andrews in Scotland, the Open de España at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, the DP World India at the Delhi GC, and the Genesis Championship in South Korea.
