The French golfer Victor Perez (+1) achieved a spectacular hole-in-one this Friday at Oakmont Country Club, becoming the second player in US Open history to accomplish such a feat on this legendary course. The only previous instance dates back to 1983, when Scott Simpson holed his ball on the 16th hole during the first round of the tournament.
With this shot, Perez adds the 54th hole-in-one in US Open history Last year, at Pinehurst No. 2, only two players achieved this feat: Francesco Molinari, just to make the cut and Sepp Straka.
