Iñaki Emparanza conquers the Masters of Ten Golf THE GAME

Iñaki Emparanza has become the fourth qualifier of the season for the grand final of Ten Golf THE GAME. He achieved this by winning a very tight Masters of Augusta. So tight that he ended up tied with Fernando G. Pérez and the winner had to be decided in a ‘playoff’. As you know, in case of a tie, the team that contains the best-ranked players wins the tournament.

Emparanza’s victory came thanks to the key changes he made on Friday after the second round with the help of mulligans. Tommy Fleetwood and Corey Conners left the team and Cameron Smith and Collin Morikawa joined. The substitution of Fleetwood was a loss, but not much, and the addition of Smith was decisive. The rest of the team was made up of Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Joaco Niemann.

Meanwhile, there were no changes in Fernando G. Pérez’s team. He kept the original six and was close to winning: Scheffler, DeChambeau, Schauffele, Reed, Niemman and Mickelson. Interestingly, neither of the top two qualifiers included Jon Rahm in their team, even though he was the most popular selection along with Sergio García.

So, the ones already qualified for the final are Iñaki Emparanza, Juana González, Joaquín Piñar and Francisco de Paula Cordero. In addition to their place in the grand final, the date and field of which are still to be determined, these four players of THE GAME have already won a pair of TOA Shoes, twelve Srixon balls, as well as a cap, a polo shirt and personalised tees provided by the company WeSported.
