We have the winner of the Top 25 Grand Game of the PGA Championship organised by Ten Golf on the occasion of the season’s second Major, played at Aronimink. The winner has been Iñaki Emparanza, who finished at the top of the leaderboard with 66 points, out of more than 200 participants.
The contest consisted of guessing, before the start of the tournament, which players would finish in the top 25 of the PGA Championship and in which position. Each participant received 20 points for predicting the winner, 10 points for each player placed exactly in their position —taking ties into account— and one point for each player included in the top 25 even if they were not in the correct spot.
Emparanza prevailed with a very solid card and wins as a prize a pack of 12 Arrow Golf balls, the only one hundred per cent Spanish golf ball brand, and a special experience: to play a round at the Club de Golf Hato Verde, in Guillena, Sevilla, alongside Ten Golf journalists David Durán y Alejandro Rodríguez. He is invited to play and to eat.
This was the final podium of the game:
1. Iñaki Emparanza — 66 points
2. Cuadra Nueva — 58 points

The Top 25 Grand Game also yielded some interesting facts:
– The three players most chosen by participants were Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick
– From a Spanish perspective, Jon Rahm was the most selected, just behind Fitzpatrick, while more than fifty teams picked David Puig and 20 backed Ángel Ayora. Additionally, around 20 participants included all three Spaniards in their lists
– Did anyone back Aaron Rai, champion of the PGA Championship? Well, not bad, given his victory was a surprise. 12 participants included him in their predictions. The one who placed him best was Mikel Lobato, who put him in 14th place
– Conversely, there were three players who finished inside the actual Top 25 of the PGA Championship and did not appear on any participants’ lists: Matthias Schmid, Max Greyserman and Padraig Harrington
Congratulations to Iñaki Emparanza on the victory and many thanks to all the readers of Ten Golf who took part in the Top 25 Grand Game of the PGA Championship
