The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, the final event of the year on the Ladies European Tour (LET) calendar, will gather from 27th to 30th November at the Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf (Málaga) a luxury amateur trio to compete for the Celia Barquín Award: Paula Martín, Andrea Revuelta and Adriana García Terol. The selection follows the usual criteria and grants these three spots to the two best-ranked Spanish players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking —Paula Martín (No. 2) and Andrea Revuelta (No. 3)— and the current Spanish Absolute Amateur champion, Adriana García Terol.
Paula Martín arrives in Málaga after a historic season: champion of The Women’s Amateur (British Amateur) and European Ladies’ Amateur champion in 2025, as well as Best Amateur at the AIG Women’s Open (Smyth Salver) with a commendable eighth place. She already has two experiences in the Open de España: nineteenth in 2022 and forty-eighth in 2024. Her second position in the world amateur ranking and the solidity shown on major stages mark her as one of the names to follow.
Andrea Revuelta arrives as one of the emerging references in Spanish golf: in 2024 she was fifth in Guadalhorce and best amateur of the Open (Celia Barquín Award), and in 2023 she had already been seventh in her debut in the competition. In 2025 she has had an outstanding university season with Stanford, crowned with the individual title of the ACC Championship and a notable performance in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (fourth place), in addition to her third place in the European Ladies’ Amateur. Experience, results, and a clearly growing game support her candidacy.
Adriana García Terol, Spanish Absolute Champion 2025 (VII Memorial Emma Villacieros), completes the trio after an exceptional course in which she also added national base titles and podiums, such as the Spanish Under-16 Championship. Her competitive progression and the character shown in Logroño support her presence in Guadalhorce to aspire to the award.
The Celia Barquín Award, at stake
The Celia Barquín Award —established in 2022— recognises the best amateur of the tournament and keeps alive the legacy of the Cantabrian player, while projecting Spanish talent on the stage of the LET grand finale. With Martín, Revuelta, and García Terol, the Open guarantees a high-level battle for an award already emblematic for the new generations.
The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho 2025 will once again place Málaga, Andalucía, and the Costa del Sol in the spotlight of international golf, with a course that already witnessed in 2024 the historic victory of Carlota Ciganda and the great performance of the national youth.
