LIV Golf announced on Tuesday the venues for the four tournaments that were missing to complete the 2025 calendar. Until now, ten events were known, and three plus the team final were needed to complete the usual schedule of fourteen championships of the Saudi league. The main novelty is that the team final, the event that will close the season from August 22 to 24, will be held in Michigan, at the The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort course.
The other three tournaments, with the usual individual and team format, will be played at the Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City, from April 25 to 27, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Washington, from June 6 to 8, and the Blue Monster at Trump National in Miami, from April 4 to 6. Regarding the DP World Tour calendar, the event in Miami also coincides with a free week on the European circuit, while the one in Mexico will be played on a date where the DP World Tour still has to assign a tournament in Asia. It seems it will be played, but it is not officially announced.
Of the four announced courses, the Blue Monster repeats, a venue that LIV Golf has already visited three times, and the other three are new. Chapultepec replaces Mayakoba in an attempt to improve public attendance. The Washington course was the venue last year for the Solheim Cup and hosted the first edition of the Presidents Cup.
Finally, the Michigan course, where the Final will be played, is newly created. It opened its doors in June last year, so it will take advantage of LIV Golf’s visit to promote itself.
