David Puig will join the ranks of the Fireballs from LIV Golf in 2024, under the command of captain Sergio García. This has been officially announced today. The news, advanced by TenGolf a few weeks ago, has been confirmed through social media.

Puig has been part of the Torque team in 2023, whose captain is Joaco Niemann. There he has shone with his own light, has had very good performances and has helped to fight until the end for victory in the non-individual competition.
Puig will fill in the Fireballs the gap left by the Mexican Carlos Ortiz, who will in turn join the Torque. It’s a swap of players. Although Ortiz’s signing for the Torque has not yet been made official.
So, Fireballs is composed of Sergio García, Abraham Ancer, David Puig and Eugenio López Chacarra, while Torque will be formed by Joaco Niemann, Juan Sebastián Muñoz, Mito Pereira and Carlos Ortiz. The personal relationships of the players have had a lot to do with this decision.
