Well, just today, on the second day of the LIV in Australia, at the The Grange Golf Club, two have been seen. The other great curiosity is that while Puig’s albatross has been absolutely celebrated by the Saudi league, as it should be, Sergio García’s has been completely overlooked. LIV Golf has published the video of Puig’s albatross on social media and highlighted it in the press release sent to the media after the round. However, there is no mention of Sergio’s albatross.
All LIV Golf shots, unless there is a technical problem, can be viewed by accessing the players’ scorecards on the official website. However, Sergio’s albatross is not shown. You click on the golf and see a still image of the fairway for a few seconds, but García is not there, nor is the ball or the green. Additionally, there is no mention on LIV’s social media. They haven’t even highlighted it in the press release. Really curious. It’s as if it was overlooked. More strange things. There is also no mention of the albatross on the Fireballs’ social media, the team captained by Sergio, while Puig’s is celebrated with an included video.
Anyway, things happen. Puig’s occurred on the 10th hole, a par 5. It was his twelfth of the day. He started on the 16th. The young golfer from La Garriga holed the second shot from the fairway. It is his first albatross as a professional. It was with a 6-iron from about 190 metres from the hole. Puig hit from the right side of the fairway, and the ball drew a beautiful fade that ended up in the hole. He celebrated it in style, as it should be. It was the third albatross in the history of LIV Golf.

Meanwhile, Sergio achieved the fourth in history by holing from the fairway on the 7th hole, his last of the day in Adelaide. It is his first albatross in competition. He achieved it with a 5-wood from 240 metres from the flag. We would love to share the video, but it doesn’t exist. For LIV, it’s as if it never happened. Steele’s albatross was from about 255 metres, while Bland’s was from about 225 metres.
