Ana Peláez (-6) has made the cut in the Q Series, the grand finale of the LPGA Tour School currently taking place in Alabama. The golfer from Malaga has achieved the first goal and, moreover, with distinction, as she is among the top 45 who will get the American card when the tournament is completed, with 36 holes left.

The Q Series have already had four out of six rounds. Ana started with a round of 71 strokes at the Falls course, followed by another 72 at the Crossings course, stepped up a gear in the third round with a 66 at the Crossings and this Monday she has handed in another card of 71 strokes at the Falls. In short, three rounds of par and one six under par that place her in the tied 40th position. She is just on the limit of those who will get the card.

Therefore, she does not have it guaranteed by any means, but at least she is on the right track. The aim is to stay among the top 45 in the two remaining rounds. The most positive thing is that the two remaining rounds are played at the Crossings, the course where she has achieved a better result. This Tuesday she will start from the 10th at 08.03, local time in Alabama.

The Q Series are held over six rounds with a cut today after the fourth day. It is going to extend one more day, since on Saturday it was not possible to play all day due to bad weather. In fact, the cut should have been established on Sunday and the last round was set for Tuesday, but everything has had to be delayed due to heavy rain.

The Australian Robyn Choi (-21) comfortably leads the final, with a three-stroke lead over the Japanese Mao Saigo and Yuri Yoshida and the Korean So Mi Lee. Among those who are currently in card positions are Lucy Li, Diksha Dagar, Polly Mack, Jennifer Song or Trichat Cheenglab, winner a week ago of the Race to Costa del Sol.

On the other hand, players such as veteran Christina Kim have been left out of the cut and, therefore, without an LPGA Tour card.
