The Final of the Alps Tour School has already concluded in Italy and the outcome for Spanish golf is truly remarkable. After three days of competition between Golf Nazionale and Terre dei Consoli, six Spanish players have managed to finish among the top 35 and, with that, have secured a full card to compete in the next season of the Alps Tour with the valuable category 6, which guarantees full access to the tournaments.
The qualifiers are Josep María Serra (-9), Álvaro Morales (-6), Víctor García Broto (-6), José Manuel Pardo (-5), Pablo Alperi (-3) and Gonzalo Leal (-2). Among them, Serra stood out especially, having delivered a very solid performance from the first day and finishing second in the final standings. At 22 years old, newly graduated from Mississippi State University, the Catalan player confirms with this result that he is ready after making the leap to professionalism. He has been one of the standout names of the week. It’s not the nine who secured the rights twelve months ago through this route, but it’s a good haul.
Additionally, another four Spaniards made the cut after the first two days and obtain category 8, which, although slightly less powerful, will allow them to compete in a good number of tournaments throughout the year. They are Agustí Quinquilla, Luis Carlos González, Alberto Domínguez and Antón Vázquez, all of whom have achieved a commendable performance that also places them in a competitive position for 2026.
Overall, ten Spaniards leave this Final with status for the next season, a fact that once again highlights the strength of national golf in the development circuits. The Alps Tour, a key stepping stone for many talents, will continue to have a significant Spanish presence and, in light of what happened this year, a very prominent one.
