Jorge Campillo (-1) has missed the cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The Extremaduran golfer missed a good week to score on the PGA Tour, although every week is good to score and, specifically, this one at the Detroit Golf Club was probably not the most suitable for his golf. A tournament where the cut is set at four under par and in the top 10 after two days barely enters the nine under, is a week in which you necessarily have to putt very well. Today he has handed in a card of 70 strokes with five birdies and the longest putt he has made in four of them has been a metre and a half. The fifth birdie was by chipping in from outside about nine metres on the 15th. To leave you four birdies almost given in a round you have to play golf quite well. The problem was not there, but in that he has left up to four putts on the way of less than two and a half metres. It is true that not all these opportunities are taken every week, but at the Rocket Mortgage it was time to do it.
