Rafa Nadal leaves us speechless once again… This Wednesday, during a round at the Club de Golf Alcanada (Alcudia), Rafa scored the first hole-in-one of his life.
The feat took place on the 14th hole, a par 3 of 167 metres with an elevated green surrounded by bunkers. Although there is no official confirmation of the club used, all signs point to it being a 7-iron that worked the magic. With a perfect trajectory, the ball bounced softly and rolled until it disappeared into the hole, unleashing the joy of Nadal and his companions.
The shot comes just days before the Balearic Championship, which will be held on the same course, where Rafa will participate as one more trying to claim victory.
In English, the word “ace” means both a service ace in tennis and a hole-in-one in golf. Rafa already knew what it was like to score an ace with the racket, having made 4009 throughout his career according to ATP. Now he knows it with an iron too.
