Interestingly, on that par five of the 2nd, despite missing the fairway, Sergio ended up making his first birdie of the day to go one under par in the overall standings, 13 shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler, who will start playing when the man from Borriol has already left Royal Portrush.
