The road to the PING Junior Solheim Cup 2026 already has a schedule. The European team, captained by Anne van Dam with Bronte Law as vice-captain, will face ten qualifying tournaments to define the team that will try to reclaim the trophy at Bernardus Golf (Netherlands) on 7 and 8 September 2026, just before the professional Solheim Cup at the same venue.
The Portuguese International Ladies’ Amateur Championship will open the path from 29 to 31 January at Penina Golf Resort, followed by the Spanish International Ladies’ Amateur at La Reserva de Sotogrande (3-8 March) and the French International Lady Juniors at Saint Cloud (1-6 April).
The summer will be decisive, with events in Germany, Sweden, Scotland, Ireland, and Switzerland, before the R&A Girls’ Amateur Championship, from 10 to 15 August at Craigielaw, closes the qualification. The top six in the European ranking will earn a direct spot, while Van Dam will complete the team with six personal picks.
“Bronte and I are looking forward to seeing the talent across Europe,” said the Dutchwoman. “I myself dreamed of being part of the team in 2013 and know how special that journey is.”
The president of PING, John A. Solheim, has celebrated the release of the schedule: “It is exciting to see how this event has grown over more than twenty years. I hope all the girls enjoy the process and arrive at Bernardus with the excitement of representing Europe.”
