Horschel’s team, Patrick Cantlay and Chris Gotterup, comfortably defeated Shane Lowry, Ludvig Aberg, and Wyndham Clark.
The winning putt came on the 13th hole, a birdie of just over two metres that allowed the current champions to go 2-0 this season and confirm their dominance in a duel that replicated last season’s semi-finals. It wasn’t as spectacular as the over five-metre putt that decided the 2025 Finals or the winning eagle of the first match in 2026, but it was decisive once again.
Atlanta wrapped up the match thanks to a 4-2 in the individual matchups, further extending their impressive record in this format, where they have accumulated a differential of +25 points in one-on-one duels. This marks the seventh consecutive victory for the champions of the first edition. For now, they are the absolute kings of this competition.
