The prize fund for the AIG Women’s Open, which is being played this week at the Old Course at St Andrews, will be 9.5 million dollars, which represents an increase of 500,000 dollars compared to the previous year.
The prize fund for the fifth and final Major of the year has tripled since the start of AIG’s sponsorship in 2019. This year, the champion will take home a sum of 1,425,000 dollars, the highest amount in the 48-year history of the AIG Women’s Open.
