The organisers of the Ryder Cup 2027 announced on Wednesday the details of the ticket sales process for the centenary edition of the famous tournament that every two years pits the best players of Europe against those of the United States and which will be played from 13 to 19 September 2027 at Adare Manor.
Residents on the island of Ireland will have priority access to tickets from Friday 24 April, while the global public ballot for fans elsewhere in the world will open on Wednesday 3 June.
It will be the second time the Ryder Cup is held in Ireland after the 2006 edition at The K Club, and Irish fans will be able to apply for tickets more than a month earlier than the rest of the world.
Prices and sale dates
From 11:00 this Friday a limited number of general daily tickets for the three competition days will go on sale: Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September. The price will be €499 per day.
There will also be a reduced allocation of tickets for the practice days on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 September from €89, as well as tickets for Thursday 16, the day of the opening ceremony, from €179.
For under‑16s, tickets will cost €20 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and €30 on Thursday.
Only residents on the island of Ireland who hold an official registered Ryder Cup ticket account will be able to access this exclusive window.
SuperValu Community Day
Additionally, thousands of tickets for the Tuesday practice day will be available through the SuperValu Community Day programme, thanks to the support of Musgrave, one of Ireland‘s leading food distribution companies, which has been named an official partner of the Ryder Cup 2027.
Details on how to apply for these tickets will be announced later this year.
Improvements for fans
Richard Atkinson, CEO of Ryder Cup at the European Tour Group, highlighted the huge anticipation already surrounding the tournament’s return to Ireland and outlined several improvements for the public.
These include 20,000 grandstand seats, a record figure for a Ryder Cup, more giant screens and, for the first time, a official Ryder Cup campsite with entertainment areas.
Europe will seek a third consecutive title
Europe will attempt to win its third consecutive Ryder Cup in 2027 following victories in 2023 at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club and in 2025 at Bethpage Black Course.
Luke Donald will once again serve as captain of the European team at Adare Manor with the aim of becoming the first captain in the history of the Ryder Cup, on either side, to win three consecutive editions.
