Tiger Woods has not yet hit a single shot in an official TGL match, but that hasn’t stopped the 15-time major winner from already starring in the most spectacular moment of the new indoor league that launched this week. It happened during some testing of the systems that make this competition possible… and it was captured by the cameras.
The Tiger witnessed the successful opening night of this new golfing attraction at the SoFi Center. Well, successful for everyone except the New York team, which was defeated. But the footage captured a conversation of the Californian with the other two founders of TGL, Tiger Woods and Mike McCarley, in which he recounted how he made the incredible shot during a visit to the facilities.
Apparently, someone challenged Woods to hit a television camera located five stories high on his first attempt. And the Tiger accepted the challenge and, of course, hit it on the first try. The great star of world golf will make his debut at the SoFi Center next Tuesday, facing the Los Angeles Golf Club, and this impressive shot is a serious warning of what he is capable of doing in indoor golf.
