The rules of the TGL, the indoor golf league devised by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, allow each team to choose, each week they have an event, which three of their four players will compete. This decision helps each golfer to organise their tournament schedule on the PGA Tour more comfortably during the season and have the possibility to rest on some occasions when their respective team has to compete at the SoFi Center.
These days, it was anticipated what the decision of the Jupiter Links Golf Club would be, who debut next week, regarding the possibility of Tiger Woods being one of the three players to compete in their first league match. And finally, it will be so. Through their social media, the TGL has confirmed that the Tiger will form, alongside Kevin Kisner and Max Homa, in the duel that will see them face Los Angeles Golf Club.
For the Los Angeles team, the three chosen players will be Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, and Sahith Theegala. A truly exciting match scheduled for Tuesday, 14 February, from 19:00 local time in Florida. Woods has already shown what he is capable of in indoor golf, and the public eagerly awaits his debut in this new league that promises to gain fans for its agility, format, and entertainment value.
