The Masters Tournament will celebrate its 90th edition in 2026 with an unprecedented commitment to global and digital coverage. The tournament, which will be held from 6 to 12 April at the Augusta National Golf Club, will offer a multi-platform experience combining traditional television, streaming, social media and interactive tools to bring every shot closer to fans around the world
In the United States, coverage will be split among major broadcasters. Amazon Prime Video will stream live the first two days (Thursday and Friday) before handing over to ESPN, while the weekend will be the turn of CBS and Paramount+. In addition, SiriusXM will provide live radio coverage across all four days
For Spanish-speaking audiences in US, ESPN Deportes will broadcast all rounds live, reinforcing the tournament’s international reach. The American Forces Network will also carry the signal to US military bases around the world. In Spain, television coverage will be provided by Golf por Movistar+, on the pay platform Movistar+
“Inside Amen Corner” debuts, the big new feature
One of the main innovations of this edition will be “Inside Amen Corner”, a new feed available on Prime Video that will allow fans to delve into the strategy of holes 11, 12 and 13, the most iconic stretch of the course. This feed will include advanced statistics and real-time analysis, expanding the traditional viewing experience
Full coverage from day one
The tournament will start even before Thursday with the traditional Concurso de Pares 3, which will be broadcast on Wednesday 8 April on ESPN and digital platforms such as Disney+. That same day there will also be pre-event programming with shows like “Welcome to the Masters” and a SportsCenter special dedicated to the event
As is tradition, the official start will include honorary tee shots by legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson
Masters.com and the app, the digital hub
The digital experience will again be one of the tournament’s pillars. Through Masters.com and its official app, users will be able to access multiple live feeds: featured groups, specific holes, Amen Corner, the practice area and new features such as “Inside Amen Corner”
Among the standout tools returning are “Every Shot, Every Hole”, which allows following every shot by each player, and “My Group”, which personalises tracking. Also returning is “Range Tracker”, with real-time data for each shot on the practice range
The big digital novelty will be “Masters Vault Search”, a tool that will allow exploring over 50 years of the tournament’s history through conversational searches, bringing iconic moments closer to a new generation of fans
Exclusive content and a focus on entertainment
The Masters will not be limited to competition. Throughout the week there will be original content such as “Mornings at the Masters”, a daily YouTube programme presented by Hally Leadbetter and Roger Steele, focused on the lifestyle and culture of the tournament
The series “Under the Umbrellas” will also return, hosted by Kira K. Dixon, with interviews of guests from different fields, broadening the event’s focus beyond golf
Documentaries and special programming
Masters week will be accompanied by a wide audiovisual offering. Highlights include the premiere of “Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait” on Prime Video and “Photographer No. 24”, which will be broadcast on NBC before being available on Peacock. In addition, there will be special programmes such as “On the Range”, “Practice Round Coverage” or historical pieces dedicated to the tournament
A more global, interactive and accessible Masters
With this rollout, the Masters reinforces its position as one of the world’s most innovative sporting events. The combination of television, streaming, advanced data and on-demand content makes this 90th edition the most accessible and immersive in its history. Augusta opens its doors again, but this time it does so more connected than ever to the entire planet
