Sam Burns and Rory McIlroy, co-leaders, played yesterday morning. Today they will have to deal with Augusta’s afternoon. Scheffler, Rose or Jon himself played in the afternoon and today should have better conditions in the morning. The man from Barrika starts with a brutal six over par, after returning his worst card in all his appearances at the Masters, 78 strokes.
Sergio García is at even par, well placed, but he is far from happy with his game and is not confident. Olazábal, after his great start, suffered in the closing stretch of his round and will begin at two over par, trying to make the cut.
