The USGA has made public this Tuesday the groups and tee times for the first two rounds of the US Open, the third major of the season, which takes place from Thursday to Sunday at Pinehurst. Some tee times in which the match of the World Number One, Scottie Scheffler, stands out, along with Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele, the American duel with Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Brooks Koepka… or the great match between Green Jackets in which Jon Rahm will participate.

The one from Barrika will play his first two rounds with Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth. On Thursday he will start from tee 1 at 19.36 (Spanish peninsular time) and on Friday he will do it from tee 10 starting at 13.51 hours. Rahm will be one of the two Spaniards who start this US Open on Thursday in the afternoon shift, along with Eugenio López Chacarra (18.41 hours), who will play with the Mexican amateur Santiago de la Fuente and the Englishman Sam Bairstow.

Before, in the morning shift, Sergio García (13.29 hours) will play, who will share the first two rounds with the Japanese Ryo Ishikawa and the Italian Francesco Molinari, and the Catalan David Puig (14.13 hours), accompanied by the American Daniel Berger and the Australian Ryan Fox. Two interesting matches in which several of the tournament’s big stars will appear at Pinehurst such as Will Zalatoris, Matt Fitzpatrick and Tiger Woods (13.29 hours from tee 10), Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Brooks Koepka (13.40 hours) or Tony Finau, Ludvig Aberg and Dustin Johnson (13.51 hours).

In the afternoon shift there will also be great attractions such as the match that Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and the Number One and great favourite to win, Scottie Scheffler (19.14 hours), Bryson DeChambeau, Viktor Hovland and Max Homa (19.25 hours) or Brian Harman, Nick Dunlap and Wyndham Clark (19.25 hours). A very interesting agenda in a new event that brings together the best players in the world… including those from LIV Golf.
