
Players and caddies will wear black on Thursday, while the caddy´s body is cremated in Porto Santo.
The European Tour will use the first round of the BMW PGA Championship to honour Iain McGregor, the Zimbabwean caddy who died last Sunday during the final day of the Madeira Islands Open.
Both players and caddies will pay tribute by dressing in black, as a sign of mourning. At the same time, in Madeira there will be a farewell ceremony.
His body will be cremated on the island of Porto Santo, a few miles from Madeira. In attendance will be his ex-wife and daughter. José María Zamora, director of the tournament where the tragedy happened, will also attend to pay his respects.
Last weekend, the Spanish Open held a moment of silence at the PGA Catalunya.
