On December 21, the Real Golf de Pedreña witnessed an exceptional day during the XI Memorial Ramón Sota, where 26 teams composed of a professional and 4 amateurs competed in an exciting tournament.
Among the prominent participants were big names such as José María Olazábal, Nacho Elvira, Gonzalo Fernández Castaño, Alfredo García Heredia, Borja Virto, Mikel Galdós, Dani Berna, as well as local players like Juan Postigo, José Rozadilla, Manuel Ballesteros and Marcelo Rodríguez Altonaga. And of course the children and relatives of Ramón Sota.
The winning team, led by Alfredo García Heredia from Asturias and composed of César Quintana, Gonzalo Rodríguez, Miguel García De la Vega and Jacinto Pérez Zatarain, shone with an impressive round of 49 net strokes.
The day concluded in an unforgettable way with an emotional meal and tribute dedicated to the memory of Ramón Sota, where the current President, Jaime Rodríguez, of the Ramón Sota Foundation and the Honorary President, Manuel Garrido, highlighted the importance and legacy of this event in the world of golf.
