The Paris Olympic Games have announced this Tuesday the matches and tee times for the first two days of the men’s tournament, which will take place from this Thursday at Le Golf National. As expected, Jon Rahm has been placed in one of the star matches. Specifically, the Barrika player will play with Xander Schauffele, the recent champion of the Open Championship at Royal Troon just two Sundays ago, and the Norwegian Viktor Hovland. They will start playing at 11.55. On Friday they will play from 9.55.
The other star match of the tournament will be formed by Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg, who will start playing on Thursday from 10.11. They are three of the four best players in the world at the moment.
The other Spaniard present at the Parisian event, David Puig, will share tee time on Thursday and Friday with the Polish Adrian Meronk and the Finnish Sami Valimaki. The first day he will play from 11:06 and the second he will do it from 9.11. The first stroke of the tournament will be hit by Victor Perez, who will open fire on Thursday alongside Matti Schmid and C.T. Pan.
