The Ladies European Tour has announced the schedule for its 2026 Qualifying School, which features as its main new development the staging for the first time of a Pre-Qualifier in Thailand. The Q-School will visit seven courses and will include three new venues, while Marrakech will once again be the hub of operations for the decisive Final.
Players will compete over two stages. The first will be a Pre-Qualifier of 54 holes which may be held in Morocco or Thailand. Subsequently, the Final will be contested over 90 holes across two courses in Marrakech.
The new Asian Pre-Qualifier will take place from 18 to 20 November at Lotus Valley Golf Resort in Bangkok, and will feature a maximum of 120 participants. With this addition, the LET aims to provide a more accessible option for golfers from Asia and the Pacific region.
Lotus Valley opened in 2008 and features a championship 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by Gary Player. Since then, it has established itself as one of Thailand’s leading golf destinations.
The Marrakech Pre-Qualifier will be played from 10 to 12 December and will be split across four layouts: Noria Golf Club Marrakech, The Montgomerie Marrakech, SAMANAH Golf by Nicklaus and Akenza Golf. Each entrant will compete on one of them.
The Montgomerie Marrakech and Akenza Golf join the Qualifying School schedule for the first time. The former, designed by Colin Montgomerie, opened in 2014. It is an 18-hole, par-71 course located in the heart of Marrakech, just a five-minute drive from the famous Jemaa el Fna square, and offers views of the Atlas Mountains and the Kutubía mosque.
Akenza Golf Resort, meanwhile, is a desert par-72 course designed by Kyle Phillips. It opened in 2025 on the southern edge of Marrakech and eight of its holes fly over natural channels and rocky terrain inspired by the landscapes of Arizona, with the Atlas Mountains always as a backdrop.
The Final of the Lalla Aicha Qualifying School will return to Al Maaden Golf Marrakech and Royal Golf Marrakech. It will be contested from 16 to 20 December over 90 holes, with the final day once again concentrated at Al Maaden.

Barnard also highlighted the importance of this Qualifying School for players aspiring to develop a professional career: “The Lalla Aicha Qualifying School is as exciting as it is nerve-racking, as it gives golfers the opportunity to fulfil their ambition of competing professionally alongside the best players in the world on some of the most iconic international stages”.
Jeeno Thitikul, world number two and an undisputed figure in Thai golf, has encouraged all players with international ambitions to take part. The Thai player has five LET victories and holds the tour’s record as the youngest winner after winning for the first time at just 14 years old.
“I love the LET! After turning professional I played on the Ladies European Tour before qualifying for the LPGA and I enjoyed that period enormously. I was able to travel the world, make new friends and experience life on tour”, Thitikul explained.
“I still love playing on the LET whenever I can and it is always fun to see the players and staff again during the year. The standard on the tour improves each season and it is fantastic to see that more and more Thai golfers are joining and getting the opportunity to compete”, added the former world number one, winner of the LET Order of Merit and the LET Rookie of the Year award in 2021.

The final round will be played at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech.
Entries for the Asian Pre-Qualifier are now open and will close on Monday 12 October at 17:00 UK time —18:00 in peninsular Spain—. The deadline to enter the Pre-Qualifier and the Marrakech Final will be Monday 9 November at the same time.
