This is how Rory McIlroy celebrated his second Masters victory at Augusta

After his Saturday debacle, McIlroy set out determined to put things right and repeat his victory at the Masters. He began his round brilliantly. But a double-bogey at the 4th and a bogey at the 6th put him on the back foot. He reacted quickly with two birdies in a row at the 7th and the 8th, and from there he relied on talent, experience and courage to leave his rivals behind one by one, and to fend off the late charge from Scottie Scheffler, the Number One in the world.

Nerves played a bad trick on him with his tee shot at the 18th, into the trees. He found the bunker, managed to get out of the sand… and with two putts, celebrated his second Green Jacket and the fact of becoming the fourth player in history to repeat victory at Augusta National.

This is how Rory celebrated the victory that makes him a multiple winner of the Masters and elevates him to the heights of world golf. A legendary player who continues to write history day after day.
