ADVANCED TRACTION
The new Pro/SLC introduce a new traction system called PWR TRAX System. It features a 3D molded X-Wing that couples to the forces of the swing to redistribute energy around the perimeter of the shoe. Inspired by the wide base of racing cars to maximize stability and traction on the perimeter, the Race Trak sole, with radial disc traction, couples and extends on the ground to increase the overall traction footprint. The multiple grip elements adapt to the specific conditions of the field and the needs when walking and playing.
ADVANCED COMFORT
FootJoy’s exceptionally comfortable StratoFoamTM midsole offers extraordinary comfort and is specifically tuned to absorb and return energy at each step. Around the ankle there is a 3D molded collar that keeps the foot in place for supreme comfort and a reliable and consistent fit.
ADVANCED CONTROL
The 3D X-Wing provides greater stability in the swing and in contact with the ground. An FTF+ foam surrounds the StratoFoam midsole to provide a stable platform during the movement to hit the ball. An exposed heel stabilizer and a TPU wrap on the sidewall contribute to control lateral and upper movement.
Like their predecessors, the Pro/SLP golf shoes will be popular at all levels of play, including professional golf circuits. They have already been used in training and competition by players of the stature of Sungjae Im, Corey Connors or Daniel Hillier, among many others.
