Nick Pugh, caddie for Lucas Herbert, was hit by a bottle from the crowd this Saturday during the second round of the LIV Golf in Australia, which is taking place at The Grange in Adelaide.

It happened on hole 12, the par 3 known as the Watering Hole, which tries to mimic hole 16 of the TPC Scottsdale during the Phoenix Open.

The crowd is particularly devoted to the game and fun in this part of the course and celebrates some birdies or great shots from the tee with a shower of liquid and bottle throwing. It happened with Lucas Herbert’s birdie, who also joined in the party by asking for more from the people.

Finally, one of those thrown bottles ended up hitting Herbert’s caddie on the head, leaving him in pain. He was able to continue the round without problems, but it is an excess that could have cost more.
