This tournament, which will distribute 1.5 million dollars in prizes, opens its doors not only to players from all tours, with criteria detailed below, but also to LIV Golf players who finished in the ‘open zone’ in the 2025 overall standings, between positions 25th and 48th, and who do not yet have a signed contract with any team, as well as those who finished in the relegation positions, between positions 49th and 54th, so they can regain playing rights quickly through this promotion.
The tournament will be played over four rounds in stroke play format, but with some important details to consider. After the first day of competition, on Thursday, January 8th, the top 20 players will advance to the second round, where scores will be reset and a series of players with a higher category, exempt from playing the first 18 holes, will join the competition. After Friday’s round, the top 20 and ties will advance to the weekend, with scores reset again. The final 36 holes will determine which two players enter LIV Golf.
The winner of the tournament and the runner-up, in addition to this passport to the Saudi tour, will receive cheques for 200,000 and 150,000 dollars, respectively. Meanwhile, the top 10 and ties will earn a full exemption for the 2026 International Series events of the Asian Tour. _A tournament on a course designed by Tom Fazio whose last three holes have been rated by the architect himself as the best he has ever designed. An incomparable setting to fight for the two passports to LIV Golf that will be at stake.
