The signing of Ben Campbell and the return of Branden Grace

Busy days in LIV Golf, teams are being completed. Following the exclusive published in Ten Golf about the possible signing of Tom McKibbin for Legion XIII, there are two teams, Range Goats and Stingers, that have confirmed their roster for 2025 in the last few hours.

The New Zealander Ben Campbell will join captain Bubba Watson, Peter Uihlein, and Matthew Wolff in the RangeGoats lineup, filling the spot left last month by Thomas Pieters after his signing with the 4Aces.

Campbell was the best player without a LIV card in the International Series ranking, finishing third behind the winner Joaquín Niemann, captain of Torque GC, and the runner-up, his now teammate, Uihlein. He was close to securing a spot in the circuit that he has now conquered.

In the case of the Stingers, it is not a new face. Branden Grace re-signs with the team he played for this season. The South African, despite finishing the year in the ‘Drop Zone’ and being relegated, has signed his return contract with Stinger GC and will not miss the 2025 season.

One who will not be part of any LIV Golf team is John Catlin. The American, who finished the season as runner-up on the Asian Tour, has not managed to attract the attention of any team. The player himself has confirmed that he will continue as a reserve, which guarantees him playing in several tournaments. Who knows, for example, if Sergio García and David Puig‘s Fireballs do not sign any player before the season starts, it might be the American who takes that spot.

There are fewer pieces left on the board.
